WHAT IS A SPRUCE TOP?

SPRUCE TOPS are not the top of one single tree. They are actually a renewable resource.
They are from the swamps of Minnesota, and they are suckers off the stumps of the black spruce trees.
Our suppliers need a special permit to go into government lands to harvest because only so many can be taken yearly.
They are very slow growing. The large one in the pictures above are 8 to 10 years old.
